ONE person was taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the edge of Bradford city centre this morning.

A black Vauxhall Corsa, driven by a 23-year-old woman, was involved in the collision with a red Proton Satria vehicle, driven by a 76-year-old man, on the Shipley-Airedale Road at the junction with Kings Road.

One person was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary after the incident.

Police were called to the incident just after 10.35am.

The crash caused significant damage to the front of the Corsa.

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesman said the injuries were not thought to be serious.
