A MOTORBIKE was found by police a day after it was stolen from the Five Lane Ends area of Bradford.

Officers said the blue Honda bike was taken from King's Road last Friday afternoon. The following day, a PCSO from the Bradford East neighbourhood policing team found the bike, which was slightly damaged, at the rear of Howarth Crescent, Swain House.

PC Dave Hitchcocks, of the Bradford district anti-social behaviour (ASB) bike team, said: "Thanks to information from local residents, the local police were able to quickly locate and recover this stolen vehicle before any harm could come to anyone.

"Enquiries are already underway to identify those responsible and arrests should follow shortly. If anyone has any information regarding the theft or use of this motorcycle, please contact the police and help us bring the offenders to justice.

"The recovery of stolen motorcycles is a priority for the Bradford district ASB bike team and we will continue to act on any useful information we are passed by the public."
