A DAY of action to address issues of anti-social behaviour on a city centre street saw businesses advised how they can help reduce such incidents.

Officers from Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the operation on Southbrook Terrace, near Bradford College.

Also involved were council wardens, security staff from Bradford College and staff from Edmund Street Day Shelter.

The intention of the operation was to address issues raised in relation to anti-social behaviour, drug use and parking issues, as well as problems in the car park of Morley Street Centre for The Blind.

Officers spoke with the business premises discussing the ongoing work by the police, council and college to address their concerns.

The businesses were provided information on how to best report further incidents and how the police and its partners are engaging with the community, in order to gather intelligence and information about ongoing issues.

Businesses were visited in relation to their customers using the car park of Morley Street, Centre For The Blind.
