The Lord Mayor Of Bradford Mike Gibbons
THE City of Bradford Brass Band is in concert at Bradford Cathedral next month to raise funds for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
The concert takes place on Saturday, April 11, from 7.30pm, and will also feature the choir from St John’s Primary School, Bierley, at the request of the Lord Mayor, Councillor Mike Gibbons.
Funds raised for the appeal this year will benefit the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford and the Lord Mayor’s own initiative ‘Make it Happen’ which will grant funds to small groups and organisations throughout the district, helping to support local projects, activities and events.
