Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted by a group of men in Bradford.

The victims, aged 24 and 25, were walking in Trinity Road, Little Horton, at about midnight last Saturday, when three cars pulled up alongside them.

A group of men got out and an altercation occurred, which left the victims needing hospital treatment for facial and head injuries.

One of the attackers was believed to be carrying a weapon, possibly a metal bar.

The suspects were believed to be Asian men and two of the cars are described as being similar to an Audi and a Seat Leon.

Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, said: "We believe that the victims were speaking to a group of five or six young Asian males in Trinity Road minutes before the attack happened.

"We would appeal to those males or anyone else who witnessed this attack to come forward."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Palmer at Bradford District CID on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
