A man has been arrested after a six-year-old boy was savaged by a dog.
The youngster suffered foot injuries when he was attacked in Leeds Road, Bradford Moor, on Tuesday.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment but police said his injuries were not serious.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said officers executed a warrant at an address yesterday and seized a Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog.
They also arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.
Sergeant Tany Ditta, of Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said last night: “Dog attacks are taken extremely seriously by police and we will always seek to take positive action to ensure our communities are safe and feeling safer.”
