Mothers of children with Tourette Syndrome visited Bradford as part of a whistle-stop tour of England.
The four women, who aim to visit the country’s 52 cities in just 11 days, were welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Khadim Hussain, at City Park.
The mothers aim to raise awareness of the brain disorder, which is characterised by physical and vocal tics, and challenge commonly-held preconceptions on behalf of the charity Tourettes Action.
One of the mums, Jacqueline Campbell, said: “We’re really pleased to be in Bradford today and delighted that Lord Mayor has accepted our information pack about Tourette Syndrome on behalf of the city.”
