A webchat on how the police can improve their service to victims and witnesses of crime, and achieve better outcomes can now be viewed online.
The webchat took place on Monday night and discussed what Out-of-Court disposals mean and Restorative Justice and how these can benefit victims and local communities.
The webchat titled Bringing Offenders to Justice is available at westyorkshire.police.uk/ onlinediscussions.
Responding to the public questions and comments was Chief Inspector Mark McManus (above) and Inspector Rick Sumner, of the Force Performance Improvement Unit.
Ch Insp McManus said: “West Yorkshire Police works closely with partner agencies to bring offenders to justice.
“We are always looking at how we can improve the service we provide to victims and witnesses, achieving better outcomes.”
Previous webchats covered cannabis, legal highs, volunteering and euro-cylinder burglaries. More webchats are being planned for a a future series.
