POLICE have charged a further eight men with drug dealing offences in connection with an undercover operation in Keighley.
Operation Saucerlake was a police sting that took place from May to September last year, and officers have now released details of a second wave of arrests.
Police said a “significant” amount of class A and B drugs and around £10,000 in cash had been seized, with those charged now bailed to appear before magistrates.
A total of 13 men were charged following the initial operation, with sentences totalling more than 45 years given to those convicted.
Inspector Khalid Khan said: “I hope this ongoing work shows the people of Keighley that we are continuing to listen to their concerns regarding the supply of illegal drugs and are taking positive action.
“This operation was again made possible with the assistance of local people, and I hope it reinforces the message that drug dealing will not be tolerated in this town.”
