A CHARITY has given a £100 donation to Keighley St Andrew’s CE Primary School.

The money, from SKT Welfare, will help buy items of uniform and PE kit for disadvantaged pupils.

Head teacher Alison Bateman received the cheque from former pupil Amir Khan and parent governor Amjid Ahmed, both members of the charity.

She thanked the organisation for its support.

SKT Welfare, founded in 2008, gives its backing to many causes in the UK and overseas. Beneficiaries have included Airedale Hospital children’s ward.
