POLICE are investigating a racially aggravated attack on a cab driver outside Keighley Railway Station.

The 32-year-old reported that he suffered severe bruising to his nose and head, as well as two black eyes and bruising elsewhere.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed it had received a complaint of an assault shortly before 10pm on July 8, close to the cab office on the railway station forecourt.

A British Transport Police spokesman said a 22-year-old man from Keighley had been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault.
