A PAIR who are part of a naked butler hospitality service have taken the plunge for Manorlands

Chris Elrick, of Oakworth, and Richard Smith, of Keighley, who are part of the Full Bronte group, raised £370 for the hospice by taking part in a sponsored bungee jump – wearing very little indeed during their rapid descent.

Mr Elrick said the jump was done earlier this year, but the pair have only just finished collecting the proceeds.

He added: "We took part in a naked bungee jump in Tatton Park, Manchester, off a specially adapted crane which was 300ft high.

"It was a good laugh, we all enjoyed it and we had a decent crowd to watch us.

"Thanks to all who sponsored us, put money in our collection tins or donated to the Just Giving page."

The Full Bronte trio – which also includes Mr Elrick's brother Philip – began as a joke but has since managed to raise a serious amount of cash for good causes.

Mr Elrick said: "We are now busy thinking of our next charity event. So far we have raised more than £15,000 pounds for various worldwide and local charities."
