POLICE found a large haul of drugs and equipment during a raid on a house in Keighley.

Officers in the Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team forced their way into the property on Caledonia Road, Lawkholme, after receiving a tip-off from the public.

They discovered a large quantity of class A and B drugs, drugs paraphernalia and other items of interest after executing a warrant.

Four men at the house were arrested for possession with intent to supply controlled drugs, and money-laundering.

Tany Ditta, the sergeant for Central Ward, encouraged people to contact the police if they had information about drugs in their neighbourhood.

He said: “Your local officers will take a robust stance against cannabis cultivation, use and drug dealing.

“We rely on members of the public to assist us in catching the offenders and bringing them to justice."

People can contact police on the non-emergency number of 101 or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
