THE Subway franchise has applied to build a restaurant at Keighley Retail Park in Hard Ings Road.
The company wants to develop a single-storey property and an outside seating area.
It notes that the development would lead to a loss of 15 car parking spaces, but adds that pedestrians would be able to access the site via a new flight of steps leading from the pavement alongside the existing vehicle access road.
Outlining the proposals in a design statement, the business adds: “The scheme will provide jobs for the local area, and will have a positive impact on Keighley Retail Park.”
The application is being considered by Bradford Council planners.
