PARISH councillors said they would need more details on prices before they decide whether to contribute towards a motorised bike for Worth Valley Police and Community Support Officers.
The proposal suggests that such a bike could be jointly funded by the Worth Valley Police and Community Contact Point, Haworth Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council, Oxenhope Parish Council and Keighley Town Council.
Council chairman, Councillor Neal Cameron, said: “We have had this before.
“The conclusion then was that the PCSOs should be using public transport because it gives them visibility.”
