PUPILS from Stanbury Primary School took part in an authentic archaeological dig to get hands-on experience researching ancient history.
They visited a site in the valley between Stanbury and Oldfield to follow the same process as real archaeologists. They were delighted to “discover” arrowheads, stone tools, and moulds for making bronze artefacts.
