TEN-year-old Chloe Hewitt has raised £600 for Manorlands hospice in Oxenhope by holding a 'blue day' at Long Lee Primary School, Keighley, and by taking part in a Midnight Walk.
Chloe’s mother Lea said: “Chloe’s target was to raise £200 but she managed to raise around £600 once all the money was collected from sponsors.
“She had online donations from friends and family, and £220 from Keighley Rugby Union Club who did a whip round for her after their first home game of the season. The BIST group in Cottingley raised around £80.
“Chloe is very grateful to everyone who has taken the time to sponsor her. It means a lot to her. “
Chloe raises money in memory of her grandmother Sue Hewitt, who died two years ago after a four-year battle against cancer.
