Talk about Wainwright
WAINWRIGHT Society founder John Burland will talk about the life and works of the celebrated walker at Addingham Memorial Hall on Thursday, November 13.
He will talk about Wainwright’s life, from his humble upbringing in Blackburn through his life-changing visit to the Lake District and then his eventual move to Kendal and the 15 years writing the Pictorial Guides.
