The UK’s fastest broadband service has arrived in Heckmondwike.
A speedy fibre optic broadband, nearly nine times faster than the average UK headline broadband speed, has been launched in Heckmondwike by Virgin Media.
The launch of 50Mb will allow customers to download an album in as little as 11 seconds, a TV show in about a minute and a high quality film in about three and a half minutes.
Jon James, executive director of broadband at Virgin Media, said: “We’re delighted to launch our new ultrafast 50Mb service today in Heckmondwike.
“Our 50Mb service will transform the online experiences for individuals and families alike.”
