Police are investigating an arson attack on a Peugeot 407 taxi parked outside its owner’s house in Clarydon Place, Heckmondwike, early today. Batley firefighters were called the blaze at 1.03am.
Watch manager Andrew Liley said: "The only feasible way this caught fire is if someone set fire to the passenger compartment."
