The finishing touches are being put to a parish plan for Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury.
Reporting in the November newsletter, parish council chairman Councillor John Huxley said the final version of the document should be launched in the New Year.
The plan is intended to outline some of the key objectives for the parish, by addressing topics such as tourism, housing, crime and youth provision.
Coun Huxley said: “If the parish plan was an important project before the arrival of the credit crunch and financial crisis we’re enduring, then it is now doubly important to our communities that the plan is lodged with Bradford Council and other agencies as soon as possible.
“Given so many uncertainties in the modern world, it’s crucial we have something solid around which to plan the future.”
