Five people from the Worth Valley plan to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of cancer sufferers.
Claire Waddington, Martin Steel, Craig and Mark Labbett and Gavin Finn embark on the 24-mile trek this Saturday.
The quintet live in Haworth or Oakworth, and Claire, the organiser, works in the cancer ward at Airedale Hospital.
The group is being sponsored to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Craig said: “To complete the Three Peaks in under 12 hours is said to be an achievement, we are aiming to complete the walk in under nine and a half hours.”
