The Oakworth Police and Community Contact Point at Holden Hall has secured £750 from the Worth Valley Area Initiative Fund.
The money will be used to provide training in crime prevention for police volunteers who will then visit local groups to help people improve security.
Opened in 2006 the Contact Point is a focal point for residents who can report matters such as anti-social behaviour or fly-tipping to the police and Council.
Training will begin in February and it is hoped the first talks will go ahead by Easter.
