A young Bradford couple have been left angry and upset after a digital camera containing the only pictures of their children as new-borns was stolen during a burglary at their home.

Kimberley Laws, 20, of Wyke, and her partner Adam Sullivan, 19, are appealing for the return of a memory card containing the pictures.

Miss Laws said she cried her eyes out after realising the camera, along with a television, a laptop and computer consoles, were taken in the burglary.

She said: “The fact somebody has pictures of my daughter to begin with is very unsettling. They have no heart – when you turn that camera on to realise there’s pictures of day-old babies and then to keep it and not post it back, I can’t understand what kind of person would do that.

“I’m more upset about the pictures but I’m angry about what kind of person would do something like that.

“Adam works hard for the things we have and it’s not like we can go out and buy them again – everything we had we have saved up for.”
