State-of-the-art media technology, for use by young people in Bradford, is to be officially unveiled next week.

The facilities at the Prism Youth Project, based in Walker Drive, Girlington, include a fully-equipped music studio with sound room, mixing decks and an IT suite where video, photography and graphic design software can be used.

There is also a “chill out” space where creative writing, drama and dance routines can be produced.

The opening event on Thursday from noon until 2pm will see young people at the project demonstrate multi-track recording, video editing and take part in performances.

Prism managing director Paul Craven said: “Prism is absolutely delighted to launch this fantastic new facility which will reach thousands of young people and enable them to channel their energy creatively in a positive direction.”
