Pupils at a Bradford school took on a sponsored maths challenge to raise money for disadvantaged children.
Children at Keelham Primary School, Denholme Gate, were sponsored for each correct answer they gave in the competition, raising £1,076 for the NSPCC and Childline.
Head teacher Debra Butler said: “They really enjoyed themselves doing the challenge and the younger ones had a colouring competition.”
A special assembly was given to the children by Sarah Tarpey, of the NSPCC.
She said: “At the moment the NSPCC is running a Children’s Voice appeal to encourage people to raise money to expand our Childline services.
“The money will go to benefit local children.”
