Surplus cash could be used to fund half-term children’s activities in Harden, Cullingworth or Denholme.
The £800 is left over from Bradford Council’s budget for holiday activities last summer in the Shipley area.
Councillors have to give the cash to one of the groups that successfully organised a 2009 activity.
The £24,200 summer programme included football, cycling, drama, tennis, crafts, healthy cooking and dance.
One activity was a four-day theatre workshop in Harden based around the musical Hairspray. There were also multi-sports days in villages around Bingley.
The Council’s Shipley Area Committee last month received a report on last summer’s programme.
It heard that there were activities on every day of the holidays, attended by 2,600 children. The report recommended that the committee funds a similar programme this summer.
