A network has been set up to help address the needs of children in Bradford.
“My BD5” is one of the first of 14 Local Area Partnerships (LAPs) to be created in the city.
It is a consortium of 11 schools and three children’s centres in the Canterbury, Marshfields and West Bowling areas of Bradford.
The headquarters, the Park Lane Centre, West Bowling, hosted a launch event on Saturday, with activities including face-painting, henna, bouncy castle and arts and crafts. They aim to give training for parents and provide activities such as homework, after-school and holiday clubs.
