This tiny donkey is the latest addition at Blue Hills Farm in Birkenshaw.
The female foal, named Lucky, was born to the farm’s resident donkeys Jack and Jill.
She is first donkey to be born at Blue Hills since it opened 43 years ago and will grow up alongside its other animals, which include hens, guinea fowl, geese, cattle, sheep and a pig.
Carlton Ives, who runs the farm with his wife Judith, and was present at the birth, said “She’s drawn a lot of people here already. She will be a top attraction and will stay here for the rest of her life. She’s very cute.”
