Volunteers at Bradford-based Yorkshire Water created a sustainable garden at a primary school in the city.
The team visited Farfield Primary School, Buttershaw, to transform part of the grounds into an outdoor classroom for pupils to learn about the environment and healthy eating. They provided two planting beds for fruit and vegetables and a compost bin.
Margaret Holden, nursery manager at the school, said: “Our new garden will allow our children to become actively involved in planting, tending and harvesting their own fruit, vegetables and other plants.”
