PLANS for seven houses to be built on a former allotment site have been submitted to Bradford Council.
If successful, the seven properties will be built on a thin piece of land, with an area of 0.37 acres, formerly used for allotments in Scholemoor Road, Lidget Green.
It would consist of five detached houses and two semi-detached houses, with off-road parking for 14 vehicles and garden space.
However, the garden spaces are limited in size due to the sites proximity to the home of Clayton ARLFC's home ground.
The land was previously used for allotment gardens but is now unused and overgrown.
The two semi-detached houses will have three bedrooms, and the other five houses will have four bedrooms.
Public consultation on the plan is open until Tuesday, February 13, and to comment visit the Council's planning website or write to the Planning Service at Britannia House, Hall Ings, BD1 1HX, quoting planning reference 17/06718/OUT.
