A PACKED Bingley town square greeted BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration as he paid the town a visit to switch on the Christmas lights.
The itinerary of events to mark the festivities on Saturday had been a joint effort by the chamber of trade, schools, local businesses and volunteers.
Bingley-based choir All Together Now serenaded Mr Gration with carols as he made his way to the stand.
Jamie Illingworth, president of the Chamber of Trade said: “It was a fantastic event thanks to the efforts of everyone involved.”
