POLICE are hunting for a vandal who has daubed properties in Baildon and Shipley with their graffiti tag.
Members of West Yorkshire Police’s Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team have asked for the public’s help in identifying the individual, who they say has damaged a number of public buildings and private property in Baildon with the graffiti. Members of the public have taken to the team’s Facebook page to say buildings in neighbouring Shipley have also been damaged by the tag.
Officers have issued this image of one of the tags, painted in neon pink and reading SHMURPH with a halo or ring above the U.
A police spokesman said: “We are keen to speak to the culprit.”
Anyone with information about who is behind the graffiti can call police on 101 or leave a message on https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/form/leave-an-officer-a-message
