PLANS to turn a garden room at a Gilstead house into a child-minding business have been refused by Bradford Council.
J Smith had submitted the plans for 73 Gilstead Lane, but there had been 13 objections to the application.
Planning officers said it would lead to an increase in on-street parking at busy times, and that the business would be “contrary to the residential character of the property and the surrounding area.”
