CHILDREN inspired by the exploits of British astronaut Tim Peake are being invited to attend an out-of-this-world event at Silsden.
Venture into Outer Space will include rocket building and a workshop to map the night sky and learn to recognise the constellations.
The event, at Silsden Town Hall from 10am to 1pm on Saturday (June 4), is for youngsters aged six to 11.
It is being organised by Keighley Astronomical Society and sponsored by the Friends of Silsden Town Hall.
Booking is essential – the cost is £4 per child, with adults free. All children must be accompanied.
Tickets and information leaflets are available from Twiggs newsagents, in Kirkgate, Silsden.
