Event to fund protest
A CEILIDH will be held in Gilstead to raise money towards helping stop a housing development in Bingley.
Greenhill Action Group, which is opposed to the proposed building of more than 400 homes on fields near Five Rise Locks, will hosthas organised the traditional Gaelic gathering .
It will be held at St Wilfrid’s church hall on May 9, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 or for adults and £5 for under-16s, available on 01274 510425, and children aged between seven and 15 years. including a pie and pea supper and live music. will be included and there will be live music from the band Northern Comfort Ring 01274 510425 for tickets.
