The full length of Parkside Terrace in Cullingworth is to be resurfaced by Bradford Council.
The £45,000 scheme will be funded from a £200,000 budget for major resurfacing work across the Shipley area.
Parkside Terrace leads from Greenside Lane, near the Co-op minimarket, to the entrance of Parkside School.
Shipley Area Committee agreed to spend the cash on major resurfacing work as part of a £2.8 million fund for highway maintenance across the district.
The area committee also approved £260,000 of surface dressing – a less expensive form of resurfacing – on other roads.
These included the A629 Keighley Road at Denholme (Whalley Lane to New Inn); Trough Lane at Denholme (DolE Farm to Bank House Farm); Keighley Road at Crossflatts (20 metres south of Canal Road to Longwood View); and the Aire Valley trunk road southbound from Crossflatts to Cottingley.
