THE district's contraception and sexual health services are moving to a new home.

A change in contract means the services will be offered from a central hub, at the Hillside Bridge Health Care Centre in Barkerend, Bradford, as well as five community-based sites, from Monday August 3.

The community-based sites will be at Farfield Group Practice in Keighley, Canalside Health Care Centre in Bingley, Windhill Green Medical Centre in Shipley, Bevan Health Care at Piccadilly, Bradford, and Bowling Hall Medical Practice, Rooley Lane, Bradford.

The service at Hillside Bridge Clinic will be available from Monday to Saturday. Other opening times will be confirmed closer to the change of service date.

The current services will end on Friday, July 31, and anyone requiring emergency contraception over that weekend should contact their GP or local pharmacy.

The changes are being made because social enterprise Locala has been awarded a contract to deliver contraception and sexual health services across the Bradford district.
