A 30-YEAR-OLD man is in custody after being found brandishing a knife on a Bradford street.
The man had to be tasered by police after failing to cooperate with officers called to Oak Lane, Manningham, early this morning.
One witness who filmed part of the incident said the “drunken male” had been running around on Oak Lane at around 1am.
“He was shouting and had a large kitchen knife in his hand,” he said.
"Within five minutes a lot of police officers turned up and tasered and arrested him."
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to reports of a male in possession of a weapon on Oak Lane, Bradford, in the early hours of this morning.
“Officers attended the location at around 1am and found a male in possession of a knife.

“The male refused to comply with officers and Taser was deployed to safely apprehend him.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and remains in custody.”
