We did not ask business or the public to nominate in this one, as the winner of winners is selected from the top-placed nominations of the other ten awards.

Judges were looking for the best overall contribution to business in the district.

The panel also considered who ticks all the boxes when it comes to performance, growth, staff and customer care and general contribution to the business landscape of the Bradford district.

This category really is up for grabs by any business entered in the previous categories, and will be awarded to the firm, individual or project the panel decides embodies the ethos of the Bradford Means Business Awards.

Last year's Winner of Winners recipient was Mansfield Pollard, who had taken the top prize in the Manufacturer of the Year category.

And since then the awards have come thick and fast, especially for boss Joanna Robinson. She was named Woman of the Year in the medium sized business category for her 'exceptional' leadership since taking over as managing director of Bowling-based cooling systems specialist Mansfield Pollard in 2013. She is the first non-family managing director in the company's 149-year history.

The judges were impressed with Joanna’s rapid career progression from financial controller to managing director and the vision which she has created for the development of the expanding business, including restructuring the senior management team.

Joanne's latest accolade follows her winning Corporate Leader of the Year at the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards in November.

When Mansfield Pollard were named manufacturer of the year and winner of winners at the 2014 T&A Bradford Means Business awards, Joanna said: "The company is changing, it’s evolving, it’s modernising, which is what you have to do to survive.

"To win is absolutely amazing, it’s a thrill, it’s an honour, and this belongs to the team. It’s all about everybody working together, and that’s what we do at Mansfield Pollard.

“I’m blown away, thank you so much.”
