HUMAN resources consultant Emma Scott from East Morton was chosen from 1,400 staff at Skipton Building Society to win the organisation’s Trusted Colleague award.
Emma, who has worked at the Skipton for four years, was nominated in the Society’s annual Star Awards for the help and support she has shown in various aspects of life at the organisation.
Paul Haines, who nominated Emma, said: “Emma has been there for many people over the past year, helping out and supporting in a variety of ways. She really deserves this award and is genuinely a real star in the Society.”
Emma said: “I feel overwhelmed, privileged and honoured to receive the Trusted Colleague award. I always strive to be supportive and sociable towards my colleagues but I never thought I would win an award for this. I just love being part of a team that is supporting the Society in striving to become a high performing organisation.”
