ACCOUNTANCY firm Wilkinson and Partners is marking its first anniversary in Ilkley by throwing open the doors of its Hawksworth Street base and inviting local residents to a free tax clinic throughout December and January, ahead of the January 31 tax deadline.
The firm, which also has an office in Bingley, will also serve festive drinks and mince pies to those who book for the free clinic.
Daniel Wilkinson, partner, said: “With Christmas just around the corner, it’s easy for people to forget about the looming tax return deadline or to feel like it’s weighing them down."By inviting local residents to make appointments for the free clinic, we can help with any queries or plans ahead of January’s deadline.
“We’ve had a great first year in Ilkley and to celebrate we’re looking forward to getting to know the local people and immerse ourselves even more in the community – with a festive drink and mince pies thrown in.”
Specialising in accounts, taxation and business advisory services, Wilkinson and Partners was founded in Bradford in 1990, before moving to Bingley in 2006 and opening up a second office in Ilkley last year, where has expanded by hiring a trainee.
