SKIPTON Building Society has been named the top savings provider for young people.
It received the award for best junior/children’s savings provider in the The Money Pages personal finance awards. The Society gained the prize based on the votes of consumers.
Kris Brewster, head of products, said: “We have continually offered exceptional savings rates for the under-18s and have this year received more than 80 best buy accolades for our Junior ISA, Leap account issue 3, Five Year Children’s Bond and Child Trust Fund.
“Skipton recognises the importance of putting savings in place for a child’s future, which is why we offer these products."
