A multi-award-winning farm shop handed out its own gongs to staff and suppliers.
Thornton-based Keelham Farm Shop, owned by Victoria and James Robertshaw, which employs about 50 staff, presented awards to 12 recipients, including several long-serving employees, at the Midland hotel, Bradford.
Sam Harrison won the team member prize; James Pickersgill was chosen by customers as Keelham’s personality of the year; Mick Thoseby and Richard Crabb were named top newcomers; Marshalls Bakery was named best supplier; Darren Collett collected the recycling prize; Nicola Bland won the putting something back category and Susan Thomas the making a difference prize.
Other winners included Ian Thompson from Thompson Brand Partners who was named honorary team member, Lee Scott, personality award chosen by colleagues and Katie Hogan won the Jack Yates star award for promising youngster.
The Andrew Robertshaw Award, given in memory of Victoria and James’ late father, went to The Yorkshire Deli for its fundraising.
