Bradford District’s Junior Chamber, JCI Bradford, began its pilot Easter Egg Appeal this week, a new project to support disadvantaged families across the district.
The appeal, which started on Monday and runs until April 13, is based on the successful format of JCI Bradford’s Secret Santa Appeal, with the group hoping to collect 1,000 eggs for children nominated by social services and local charities.
JCI Bradford is seeking pledges from local companies and organisations to donate eggs to the appeal, and will host a stand in the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, Bradford, between 10am and 4pm on April 12 for people to drop off their gifts.
