Accountancy boss Rajeev Dewedi has teamed up with Shipley College, the Yorkshire Asian Business Association and regeneration body Inspired Neighbourhoods to stage an event tomorrow for small and medium businesses.
Speakers will include Akbars restaurant entrepreneur Shabir Hussain, whose Cafe de Akbar venue on Leeds Road will host the event, Daniel Langton from Microsoft who will discuss the latest software developments, Rajeev Dewedi of Rajeev Accountants and Neil Clay, of Shipley College.
Mr Dewedi said his firm had taken on two apprentices through a programme initiated by Shipley College.
Neil Clay said: “Working in partnership with Rajeev Accountants, the College is keen to engage further with the Asian business community to promote the business benefits of training and development. Within the region there are European funding sources to support the costs of staff training and development and some great news stories around apprenticeships.”
