The owner of a new bed store in Bradford says he is hoping the Westfield shopping centre will boost his business by reviving the city centre.
Brian Henson opened Bulldog Beds on Cheapside this week and said he was backing Bradford to move forward and develop.
He said: “I am proud to be from Bradford and open our first shop in Bradford. We wanted to be near the action. The store is close to the new Westfield development and ‘we’re backing Bradford’ to push on and develop like Leeds ”
The store sells a range of mattresses handmade in West Yorkshire and a variety of bedsteads.
“Each handmade mattress will come with a certificate of authentication. We need to put confidence back into the bedding industry and Bulldog Beds will only be using NBF approved factories to produce its mattress collection,” said Mr Henson.
Bulldog Beds is also offering a Savers Club.
