The next meeting of a Bradford-based business networking group will launch a new partnership with the Telegraph & Argus.

Yorkshire Enterprise Network will hold monthly Bradford Means Business networking events in partnership with the T&A to help develop links between local and regional businesses.

Richard Ashton, T&A business sales executive, said: “YEN shares many of the attributes we look to promote within our city, which is keeping it local and procuring services from one another.

“Business confidence is at an all-time high within the city and I encourage firms who wouldn’t normally consider networking to come along to our events and meet like-minded, enthusiastic business individuals.”

Sheraz Malik, YEN co-founder, added: “We are very excited to be working with the T&A to deliver greater networking opportunities within the district.”

The first event will be held at the University of Bradford on Thursday, February 27, from 6.30pm.

Speakers will include Mark Garratt, the university’s marketing director, Professor Laurence H Patterson, director of the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics and Cancer Drug Discovery programme, and Robert Drummond, T&A head of newspaper sales.

YEN members can register by e-mailing events@yorkshirenetwork.co.uk. Non-members can sign up at yorkshirenetwork.co.uk.
