Logistics group Torque, which has two Bradford sites employing nearly 200 people, has been appointed to provide warehouse and delivery services to the US-based Gorilla Glue Company.
Torque is storing all products and consumables and providing a pick and pack service for Gorilla Glue’s UK arm, based in Chorley, Lancashire. Torque’s local sites in Cutler Heights Lane and Holme Lane cover nearly 450,000 sq ft.
The Gorilla Glue contract ranges from separating and sealing individual glue bottles into poly bags, attaching new external labels and barcodes, plus putting all adhesive tapes into sleeves before despatch.
Torque is also making up floor and display stands and dispatching the Gorilla Glue range to retail and trade distributors, along with delivering products to independent stockists and fulfilling online orders placed through Amazon.
Simon Damp, Gorilla Glue European sales director, said: “We needed a logistics partner that could deliver to all our customers, from Tesco to corner shops, on-time, correctly and professionally.
“Torque have offered us a true one-stop service and have been great both at understanding the specific needs of our customers and working with us to ensure their exacting standards are met each time.”
