Bradford’s Kings Security Systems is sponsoring the Great Britain Police Rugby League team at the Festival of World Cups, which will feature competitions for police, student, wheelchair, women and armed forces teams and include a fixture in Bradford.

The festival precedes the Rugby League World Cup in England and Wales this autumn. The police team will face opponents from Australia and Fiji.

Anthony King, managing director of Kings, said: “We are delighted to support and honour our national police rugby league team and wish them every success in this tournament.”

Former Bradford Bulls forward and current British police team manager Jon Hamer said: “We are delighted to have Kings Security Systems as our principal sponsor and applaud their continued commitment in working closely with the police service to create safer communities.”

The coaching has been led by Jon and another former Bradford Bulls player Mark Robinson.

The World Cup kicks off with Great Britain v Australia tonight at Dewsbury and will include the Fiji v Great Britain match at Bradford Bulls ground on Monday with the final at Headingley on Sunday, July 14.
